This month for Little Makers we sorted. We have so many random craft supplies lying around, and we had just gotten a new bag full of donated stuff. The part of me that loves organizing is a HUGE fan of sorting, and I loved getting to share this with kids.
Book: Same Same by Marthe Jocelyn
App: Buckle My Shoe by appropo. This app shares the classic nursery rhyme, but also has a play option where you can sort buttons.
Sorting
Each kid got a tray full of stuff and worked with their grown ups to sort.
I mentioned a few suggestions of sorting categories, but encouraged them all to come up with as many unusual options as possible.
